COVID – 19 Exploring what is next for event & hospitality professionals

The Event Book launch Covid Creates event for aspiring furlough-preneurs from the events & hospitality industry

The loss of event & Hospitality jobs

When the country went into lockdown on 23 March, no one had any idea on how the Covid-19 pandemic was going to change the event industry and it is estimated that over 126,000 event jobs were lost as a result. Event & hospitality professionals are incredibly adapting and responsive to change, so it may not come as a surprise that there has been a rise of furlough-preneurs during this time.
