The Event Book created a Studio 54-inspired Christmas party for 500 Ripple guests at The Waldorf Hilton, London. From a red-carpet arrival with paparazzi-style photographers to martini-glass performers and a packed dance floor, the evening combined theatrical entertainment, generous hospitality and disco classics.

Ripple, a technology company and long-standing client of The Event Book, wanted a Christmas party that felt cool, sociable and relaxed. The brief was to give employees an opportunity to let their hair down and have fun. A standing reception offered the freedom to mingle, explore the entertainment and enjoy the evening at their own pace.

The challenge was to create a high-impact party that felt effortless for guests while coordinating multiple entertainment and hospitality elements. With 500 attendees, the arrival, food service and entertainment needed careful planning, and the Studio 54 theme had to feel cohesive from the red carpet to the final songs.

We designed the experience around the glamour and energy of Studio 54. Guests arrived on a red carpet, greeted by performers in champagne dresses and paparazzi-style photographers. In-character bouncers added a playful nightclub touch. Inside, martini-glass performers, cocktails, wine and champagne accompanied food stations and roaming food, with a cheeseboard to finish. A trio of singers performed classics before the disco carried the evening.
