The Event Book delivered a summer team building event for 300 guests at Shoreditch Gardens in June 2026. The brief was to bring the whole team together through a sports day style experience that felt relaxed, inclusive and enjoyable. No cheesy icebreakers or forced fun. The event combined friendly competition with branded cocktails, five food stalls and a silent disco.
A summer event that got the whole team involved.
The Arch Co wanted a summer event that encouraged colleagues to connect outside their everyday working environment. The experience needed to get the whole team involved while offering enough variety for different personalities, interests and tastes. Food, drinks and entertainment were central to the atmosphere.

A large group, without forced fun.
The key challenge was creating a team building event that appealed to a large and varied group without making participation feel awkward or overly structured. With 300 guests, the day also needed to balance group activities with time to eat, drink and socialise.

We built the event around a sports day style format, using friendly competition to encourage colleagues to interact and get involved. The activities provided a shared focus, while branded cocktails, five food stalls and a silent disco added variety beyond the team building programme. This gave the day a relaxed summer atmosphere, with time to take part, catch up and enjoy the entertainment.
